Representative Seboe launches Empowerment Foundation, Providing Six Students with Opportunity to Study in Rwanda

Montserrado County District #16 Representative Dixon Seboe has taken a significant step towards empowering the community with the launch of the “Seboe Empowerment Foundation.”

This initiative which expected to focus on education, economic empowerment, and safety for the residents of District #16 key initiative will be on Teachers’ Development, where sponsored teachers will be able to further their education with degrees in education. The foundation also offers educational opportunities such as scholarships for youths, empowerment for women, and improved safety measures for citizens in the district.

Additionally, the foundation is expected to provide six students with the opportunity to study at the University of Lay Adventist in Kigali, Rwanda, promoting educational excellence and cross-cultural exchange. Furthermore, fifty market women will benefit from micro-loans to grow their small businesses under the economic empowerment program.

In terms of safety, the foundation has distributed helmets and reflective jackets to motorcyclists in the district in partnership with the Liberian National Police.
