Former Foreign Minister, Ambassador Dee-Maxwell Saah Kemayah Sr., recently stepped forward to offer assistance and hope to the fire victims of the Paynesville Town Hall community following a recent fire incident. As a long-time resident of the community, Ambassador Kemayah felt compelled to support those affected by the tragedy.
In a generous gesture, Ambassador Kemayah, along with his family, donated food and non-food items to the affected families. Furthermore, he paid one year’s rent for all thirteen family heads and provided a cash package to each of them during a small ceremony on May 26. Additionally, school materials were presented to children impacted by the fire.
The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude towards Ambassador Kemayah and his family for their timely and compassionate assistance. One fire victim described the gesture as a significant relief during a challenging time. Chairman Mark Tulay of the Paynesville Town Hall community acknowledged Ambassador Kemayah’s continuous support to the community over the years.
Ambassador Kemayah emphasized the importance of community solidarity and urged the government to also step in and support the affected families. He highlighted the resilience and generosity of his wife, who has been instrumental in humanitarian efforts, including interventions through their clinic.
Through his actions, Ambassador Kemayah exemplified the spirit of empathy and solidarity, demonstrating the power of individuals to make a positive impact in their communities.
