Hon. Yekeh Kolubah has made a strong declaration of loyalty to House Speaker Hon. Cllr. J. Fonati Koffa. Kolubah stated that if he ever betrays the Speaker, he wishes for his life to be taken from him. He pledged to stand by the Speaker until the end and expressed his commitment to the Liberian people and the law.
Kolubah emphasized that if the law is not respected by 2029, they would not adhere to the court’s decisions, as they would focus more on electoral numbers rather than legalities. He reaffirmed his support for House Speaker Koffa.
If I, Hon. Yekeh Kolubah, ever betrayed the Speaker, may God take away my life. I will remain with the Speaker to the last. I am on the side of the Liberian people and the law to the fullest. If the law can’t be respected now, in 2029 we will not listen to the court because that time we will be looking at numbers, not the law anymore.
